How to get a Duplicate Marriage certificate

1) Got to the Khar West Marriage Registrar office ( adjacent to Khar West MTNL on Link Road )
2) Office is way at the back on 2nd floor
3) Carry 5 rupee Court Stamp ( get this from Bandra Court )
4) Ask for the Application ( it will be in Marathi )
5) Fill all the details , Bride / BrideGroom etc , Date of Marriage
6) Rs 25 per copy
7) Submit it and collect it after some days

The touts will charge you Rs 200/- for a 5 rupee court stamp, so be prepared. There is a guy Mr Sharad who is an employee, he takes Rs 1000/- as agent fees. Avoid it

Fianally you will get a Photo Copy on a Green Legal Paper , with Regestrar Seal / Stamp . So remember it is a xerox Certified by the Regestrar

The Bandra MHADA Marriage Registrar has been transferred,to KHAR WEST . Including all Records .

PMC - Title transfer of property at Pune

I did a gift deed transfer recently. My Dad transferred his ownership of the flat to my name. Next i had to get  the Property Tax document to reflect my name. Here is the process.

1. Visit the PMC office at Bremin Chowk - Aundh
2. Take an application from them and ask them what documents are needed, take a pen and paper to jot down notes
3. I remember taking the Photo Copies of the first and last seven pages of all your title docs. 
4. I had to attest it using a TRUE COPY stamp, very important
5. Next Pay Rs 1000 + 100 and get receipts
6. Visit office after 8 weeks to collect the title transfer 1 page doc from the office
7. You are done. 

Submission of docs took about 2 hrs over a 3 week period, unfortunately i made some mistakes so they sent me back, this is normal and should not dishearten you. The staff is very kind.

Process to Renew your Expired License

If you are from the same RTO (MH-12)
1) Go to RTO online and print the forms , get your self medically certified ( 2 forms - Self and Doctor)
2) Go to Mrs Dalvi in the License Section  ( 1st floor ) and she will verify the docs and write down the fees to be paid in RED.
3) Go to Block B and pay your fees , they will give you a receipt
4) Go for Bio-metrics with receipt just 5 feet away
5) Wait for 3 months for your license to come

If your license is from the any other  RTO ( not MH-12)
1) Get your NOC if you are from a different RTO , this is compulsory.

1a) Go to RTO online and print the forms , get your self medically certified ( 2 forms - Self and Doctor)
2) Got to Inspector BHOR in the License Section  ( 1st floor ) and he will verify the docs
2a)Go to Mrs Dalvi in the License Section  ( 1st floor ) and she will verify the docs and write down the fees to be paid in RED.
3) Go to Block B and pay your fees , they will give you a receipt
4) Go for Bio-metrics with receipt just 5 feet away
5) Wait for 3 months for your license to come

I did this all in 20 min in Jan 2013 , there was no crowd.
